<title>RITA LEVI MONTALCINILevi-Montalcini was born on 22 April 1909 in Turin, [9] [10] in a Sephardic Jewish family. [11] [12] She and her twin sister Paola were the youngest of four children. His parents were Adele Montalcini, a painter, and Adamo Levi, an electrical engineer and mathematician, whose families had moved from Asti and Casale Monferrato, respectively, to Turin at the beginning of the twentieth century. [9] [13]In his adolescence, he considered becoming a writer and admired the Swedish writer Selma Lagerlöf, [14] but after seeing a dear family friend die of stomach cancer, he decided to attend the University of Turin Medical School. [15] His father discouraged his daughters from attending college, as he feared that he would interrupt their potential lives as wives and mothers, but ultimately supported Levi-Montalcini&#39;s aspirations of becoming a doctor. [9] While at the University of Turin, the neurohistologist Giuseppe Levi has raised his interest in the developing nervous system. [5] After graduating with honors in 1936, he remained at the University as Levi&#39;s assistant, but his academic career was interrupted by the 1938 Benito Mussolini Breed Manifesto and the subsequent introduction of laws that excluded Jews from academic careers and professionalMARIA MONTESSORIMontessori was born on August 31, 1870 in Chiaravalle, Italy. His father, Alessandro Montessori, at the time was 33, was an official of the Ministry of Finance working in the local tobacco factory run by the state. His mother, Renilde Stoppani, 25, was well educated for the times and was the great grandson of the Italian geologist and paleontologist Antonio Stoppani. [1] [2] Although he did not have a particular mentor, he was very close to his mother who promptly encouraged her. He also had a love affair with his father, even if he did not agree with his choice to continue his education.ELISABETTA PRIMA D’INGHILTERRAElizabeth I Tudor (Greenwich, 7 September 1533 - Richmond upon Thames, 24 March 1603) was Queen of England and Ireland from 17 November 1558 until her death.Daughter of Henry VIII and Anna Bolena, and sometimes called &quot;virgin queen&quot;, &quot;Gloriana&quot; or &quot;the good queen Bess&quot;, Elizabeth was the fifth and last monarch of the Tudor dynasty; freed from the imprisonment she had been subjected to in 1558 to prevent her from taking power, she succeeded in the same year to the half-sister Mary I of England, who died without heirs. His reign was long and marked by many important events. His policy of full support for the Church of England, after attempts by Maria Tudor to restore the Catholic Church, caused strong religious tensions in the kingdom and there were several attempts to conspire against her, in which her cousin Maria Stuart was also involved. , which she had executed after having confined her for many years.Involved several times in the religious conflicts of her time, she emerged victorious from the war against Spain; always during his reign the bases of the future commercial and maritime power of the nation were laid and the colonization of North America began. [1] Its epoch, called the Elizabethan age, was also a period of extraordinary artistic and cultural flourishing: William Shakespeare, Christopher Marlowe, Ben Jonson, Edmund Spenser, Francis Bacon are just some of the writers and thinkers who lived during his reign. The name of the first English colony in America, Virginia, was chosen in honor of the &quot;virgin queen&quot;.</title>
