She teaches basic skating skills to young students and also helps national and Olympic skaters prepare for competitions and learn more advanced skating techniques. Stephanie Stiegler previously taught at Portland Ice Rink and Toyota Sports Center in California. At the latter, Ms. Stiegler also taught hockey players how to improve their footwork and stamina via a programming partnership with the Los Angeles Kings and Junior Kings hockey teams. She began her coaching career in 2008 as an elite skating coach at Culver Ice Arena. Prior to pursuing a career in coaching, Stephanie Stiegler was a member of the US international team, winning multiple medals in pairs figure skating. She was also a two-time Olympic alternate and the first-ever US Juvenile Ladies' National Champion.
