I went to the Sherlock Homes Museum in London because I ’m a big fan of the Sherlock series. This fascinating museum is really worth a visit! Only a few people at a time can go in because the rooms are really very small. You can see rooms and furniture that are more than a hundred years old. But the pictures and wax models of the criminals in the Sherlock stories are the really exciting part of this museum. Some of them are very scary. You can also do an interesting tour of the museum. It only takes about one hour so you don’t get bored. If you have time, look around the museum shop. It’s a great place to buy some spectacular souvenirs. And don’t forget to ask someone to take your photo with the Victorian policeman at the door. The museum is a must for Sherlock Holmes fans, but more for fans of the books than of the TV series because the museum is not the filming location for the Sherlock series. The museum is easy to find (if you don’t go the wrong way like me…). Just get the tube to Baker Street and walk to number 221B. It is open from 9:30 am to 6 pm every day. Get there early because there are often long queues outside. You can buy your tickets in the museum shop. I think the tickets are quite expensive (£ 10 for children, £ 15 for adults).

Fire00729 Königsdorf, Germany

THE LONDON EYE
I went to the London Eye. You have a great view over London. The opening times are from 11:00-18:00. The standard experience tickets cost 32.50 pounds. The fast track tickets for the London Eye cost 51 pounds. you must buy the tickets online. How do you come from the Big Ben to the London Eye? First you turn right in the Bridge street and go straight on. Next you cross the river Thames then you turn left in Belvedere road. You go straight on until you reach the Thames path. In front of you is now the London Eye. You need only 5 min for the walk. It's really worth a visit, but the tickets are very expensive.

In one of the beatiful capsules you can see so many famous sights: the Houses of Parliament, the Westminster Abbey, the Big Ben, the Buckingham Palace, the St.Pauls Cathedral, The Tate Museum, the Tower Bridge, The Shard and the Thames River. It was really great but I was happy when I was back on the floor. But it was very expensive: the price for the children is 29.50 p and the price for the adults 32.50 p, the Fast track tickets for adults cost 46 p and for children from 3-15 years 33 p.
The way to the London Eye is really easy. You go from Waterloo undergroundstation about 5 minutes and take the 6th exit. Now you follow the signs and then you can see the London Eye. It is in the Westminsterbridgeroad. Here I was on a ferris wheel tour about 30 minutes in 135 meters. It was really great and you shoud have to visit it.

Mona4931 Frechen, Germany
London Zoo

I went to the London Zoo, because I like animals. It is really good to visit the London Zoo. I find that is a good place to go when you visit London. The Zoo has 20,329 animals. You can go from Monday-Sunday 10am-4pm. When you want to go to the Butterfly Paradise there have open from 10am to 5pm. The Butterfly Paradise is fantastic. There are so many butterflies. The London Zoo is at the Outer Cir, London NW1 4RY, United Kingdom. It is in the near from the Regents Park. The Zoo was built in April the 27th 1828. The telephone number is +44 3442251826. I find the ticket price is okay. For adults from 16-64years cost 33p. Children from 3 to 15years 21.45p. Students with ID cost 29.70p. Seniors at 65+ there cost 29.70p. When you want to stay for a weekend for 1 adult there are many hotels in the near of the London Zoo for example: 2nights, 4stars very good, Holiday Inn London Camden Lock. For 2 nights it cost 404p. I find thats a little bit expensive, but very good. You can walk from there to the London Zoo. There are 0,7km away. At the London Zoo you can park free from Monday-Friday at 10am. There are famous animals for example guy the gorilla. It is really good.

Marlipro Frechen/Germany

I went to the London Eye because in the night we can make nice photos and you have a great view over London. From the London Eye you can see the House of London, Westminster Abby, Big Ban, Buckingham Palace, St Pauls and The Tate Museum. The opening times are from 11am-6pm every day. The standart ticket cost 32,50 pounds and the Fast track ticket cost 51 pounds. You can buy the tickets online. The way with Bus from Westminster Station (Stop h) to London eye .For the way you need 11 minutes. With the Bus it`s very quick. My opinion is that the view is great but it`s very expensive. You can go there but you must think about the price.

I think it was a great place and it is a must for animalfans. There are more than 20.000 animals. So many! It was a nice place to take photos from the animals. You can watch the animal talks all day. At 11:00 am are the lions, 12:00 pm the Meerkat and Otter talk and so on. There are different zones. For example the pink zone. The Tickets cost for adults 26p,for students and seniors 26p, for children 19p and the tickets are free for children till 3 years. I think there are good prices The Zoo was open from 10am- 16pm.

The town is: Outer Cir, London NW1 4RY, great britian. It is in the Regent Park.
