There was signs infront of the bridhes, info and signs on the enclosures and onto of certain buildings such as cafes ajd toilets and the toy store. We were also taught aligator saftey, aligator behaviour and it was very intresting. During the summer my two little girls and me visited Edinburgh Zoo for a family trip. They had a lot for the girls to do with play parks next to the penguin rock that while playing they could over look the penguins through the windows. They had lots of cafes and ice cream places dotted around which kept the girls happy with all the walking that occurs. They also had the dino park with all the fake dinosaurs that made noises and had interesting games and boards with facts about the dinosaurs. They also did a 'poo talk' which they told you about the poo if it was healthy, colour and why it contained certain food within it. In south Africa there are multiple safari experiences to enjoy, the main one is the big five safari

There was a range of facility’s like; a café, gift shop, bathrooms and hotels, and there were multiple people/guides on site to help and make sure you are safe.

It was a once in a lifetime experience that everyone can enjoy. The big five are known for being the most dangerous animals in Africa, aka the big five. The big five are your lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino. These are known to be the big five as they are the most dangerous and difficult to hunt.

You could also pet the baby’s that are round about 7-8 months old. Not all are aloud to be out as they are still wild animals

Facilities available: Very accessible for people with medical issues, activities and chance to interact with animals. Penguin enclosure had an amphitheatre.

Guides & Organised Tours: There were tours, accommodating to people with hearing and sight issues. I never took part in one, but saw them happening.

Interactive activities: I was able to interact with some of the animals, but I think it's better just to look at the animals and appreciate them that way.

Signs & Information: The signs were well placed, easy to read. It was very informative and provided interesting information. 👀

I vaguely remember Blackpool zoo, but I thoroughly enjoyed the dinosaurs + prehistoric walks. Toilets - clean for being in the forest

There were a few volunteers telling us history about the elephants such as old elephants coming from the circus or been given as no longer been able to look after them. Liked how the elephants were relaxed and able to wonder

There were many facilities for kids like a soft play which was adjoining a restaurant, as well as small rides.

The zoo had lots of informative signs on the animals, and clear signs around the park as directions to other animal enclosures.

We had the chance to go into the lemur enclosure to feed them, where the guide gave us some information on the lemurs while we fed them.

I overall enjoyed my time there!

It was teeming with wildlife including many unusual species that you don't see in everyday life, especially not in Scotland. It had plenty of bird hides and viewing points from where you could easily spot/watch the wildlife, especially as I had binoculars. Further facilities included a visitors centre that gave access to toilets, a gift shop and there were plenty of staff available to help people find their way and answer any questions. There were also guided walks available where staff take you around the reserve and point out all the different species. As it was a big reserve the path diverged at points so there were plenty of signs that let people know where to go and how far away different locations were.
I overall really enjoyed the experience as I got up close to some of my favourite species including avocets and was surrounded by like minded people. The aquarium is bright and colourful with extremely helpful and plentiful staff there to help and answer any questions you have. You are given a map of the aquarium on arrival, and there are lots of clear signage everywhere to show where things are.
There is a huge underwater tunnel were lots of different marine life swim over and around you including sharks and manta rays. Also they have the world's largest curved perspex glass tank where you can sit on comfy sofas and watch as all different animals swim in front of you for as long you want. There are interactive screens that can be used by adults and children with information on every animal in each tank as you go around, with the choice of three languages: Spanish, English and German. There is also a cafe and a restaurant where in the latter you can have a bite to eat whilst fish swim past you in a massive tank.
At the end there is a giftshop selling a variety of things from toys to clothes to keyrings and fridge magnets.
