The difference between a line, line segment, and a ray is......

A line has two arrows on each side. So it is a infinite line. When you are giving them a name with letters you can only use two letters. Like AQ or QA.

A line segment has two points on each end so, it does not have a specific place to start and to end. So if you were naming it, you could choose DE or ED.

Now, we have the ray. The ray has a point on one end, and a ray on the other. The side the arrow is on goes forever and forever. Another infinite line. The point is where you start and the arrow keeps it going. So if you have a name, the letter starting from the point has to go first.

That is the difference between a line, line segment and ray.
Have a good day ; D :D
