The lesson taught was a lesson on finding missing angle measures. The students had to set up a system of equations within angles and set the equation equal to 180 or 90 degrees. The students did this work collaboratively in groups of four. For the activity, the students worked on a worksheet.

The students were 10th grade students in an integrated Math II class. The class had a 50/50 ratio of male to female students. The class was also diverse. The two Math II classes Mrs. Valach has are honors and a regular. This class was the regular class.

There were many good aspects of this lessons. The students worked in collaborative groups and this seemed to help the students understand the concept better. The only thing about the collaborative learning was the students got a little loud. During this time Mrs. Valach did step in to help get the class quieter.

This class is based on integrated technology and has 40% based on online learning. Using the smart T.V. would have been more efficient when going over the lesson. There was a lack of technology during the lesson.

Overall, the lesson went great. The students were respectful and listened and were also cooperative when told to settle down. The students seemed to understand how to set the angles equal to 180 or 90 degrees and solve for "x". This teaching experience was delightful.
