So much happened at this point in history. Some examples of this change would be all the shifts going on. Some of these shifts include agricultural to industrial, rural to urban, and farms to factories, and women and children entering the workforce instead of at home. This was a sleeper train car that led to a nicer, and more luxurious way of traveling. He also created a town in Pullman, Illinois, where his workers could live. He ended up becoming more like a ruler, which caused the residents to to go on strike because of their conditions. This describes the dependence of two or more people or things on each other. Becoming a national economy of goods was based on interdependence along with specialization. Railroads allowed us to make this shift and have different places depend on each other for resources. Before we had these, every place had different times which made it very difficult to run a train schedule and prevent collisions on the tracks. So, the solution to this problem? Time zones. Also, while talking about this I learned that Asia is the continent that enjoys the first hour of every new day. At this point in time, women are now frequently seen in the workforce. If not for this, would the only option for women still be to stay home with the kids? I appreciate the fact that women started to have a place in society by having a job during the Industrial Revolution.
