Soviet Union, Poland, Albania, Hungary, East Germany, Romania, Czechoslovakia and Bulgaria.
When and who started the organization? Started by the Soviet Union in 1955, but dissolved the 1st of July 1991.
What is the organization for? Collective defense treaty for mutual assistance, protective alliance to protect from NATO. Looked to preserve Communism for the Soviet Union and its allies.
What has the operation done? Promoted communism, "protected" eastern Europe from NATO.
What is the history/trade within the organization? There were a few revolts within the pact and the pact disbanded when the cold war ended with the fall of communism. The countries turned to China for trade as well.
Do you think it was a very effective treaty? No, because the economy in the countries affiliated with the Warsaw Pact was poor and the fact that the treaty only existed for 36 years would insinuate that it was not very successful. Communism was already not a very effective economic structure and a alliance to protect it and influence trade suffered from it.

F) What is the history or trade w/in the organization? The Alliances creation was part of a boarder effort to serve three purposes: Determining Soviet Expansionism, Forbidding the revival of nationalist militarism, and encouraging European political integration.
G) Opinion of the Group. The organization is effective because it promotes democratic values and it is committed to  the peaceful resolution.
