         <description><![CDATA[<div>On December 1, 1955 Rosa boarded a bus in downtown, Alabama. She paid her fare and sat in the first row of reserved blacks seats. The bus driver was the same man who left her in the rain in the past. As the bus filled, there were white men standing so the bus driver told four African Americans to get up. Among those four, Parks was one of them and she refused her seat. At that point, the bus driver called the police to arrest Parks.</div>]]></description>
