Firstly, we have shared information about The Hadith of Jibril (Arabic: حديث جبرايل, Hadīts Jibraīl) is a hadith that contains definitions of Islam, Faith, Ihsan, and the signs of the Day of Judgment according to the Islamic creed. This hadith was narrated by a friend of Umar bin Al-Khatthab. This hadith can be found in both Sahihain books, Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. This hadith is also supported by Surah An-Nisaa' No. Surah: 4 Verse: 136.

Then we have shared information about What are the Pillars of Islam?

The pillars of Islam are the five basic things in Islam, which are considered to be the obligatory basis for believers.

After that, we had a calm discussion about the meaning of the Shahadah Kalimah. Syahādah (الشهادة) carries the meaning of the testimony of a person who is present in an event by telling, telling, or admitting what he knows through his senses, whether seeing, hearing, feeling, or touching something.

Finally, we found that saying two sentences of the Shahadah

is the first pillar in the Pillars of Islam, which is a statement of belief in the oneness of God (Allah) and Prophet Muhammad s.a.w. as his apostle.

• Believe in the arrival of the day of retribution.

• Believing that the whole world, including the world and its contents, will experience destruction when Christmas comes

One of the ways to be civil with parents is in terms of conversation.

Be polite:

•Speak in a gentle intonation tone of voice. For example, don't raise your voice and get angry. Do not interrupt the conversation of the parents. Listen attentively, if you don't agree with what is said just keep quiet.

•Using a soft voice to please and care for their feelings.

Consequences of not being civil to parents and family individuals Earning the wrath of Allah SWT:

• Being sidelined and marginalized by parents and family.

• Big sin, and if you don't repent, it can lead to hell.

My Wish:

I am currently an Islamic Reveal Knowledge student and the wish that I have in the future is to do well for foundation and enter Kuliyyah in Gambang Campus, InshaAllah. My wish other than that is to be a good servant to Allah SWT, a good ummah for Rasulullah SAW and a good daughter for both of my parents. I also wish to do well in this life and the hereafter.

My words in Usrah I precisely is; In a nutshell, my goals in the future is to become a good muslim. Other than that, I also want to be someone who's useful for my parents, my family and the society insha'Allah.

I realize that throughout this usrah I, I have learnt many useful things and I have many new things and topics from Sr. Irdina. Sr Irdina always make sure that she told us at least one new knowledge that is a Fard Al-Ayn that is the things that we as a Muslim are obligated to know.

Ihsan (Excellence) in Islam

Ihsan comes from the Arabic root "حسن" (hasuna), which means goodness or excellence. In Islam, ihsan refers to performing actions with perfection, sincerity, and the awareness that Allah is always watching.

• How to Develop Ihsan in Life?

1. Increase Awareness of Allah (Taqwa) – Always remember that Allah sees everything we do.

2. Maintain Sincerity in Intentions – Do everything for Allah, not for people's approval.

3. Strive for Self-Improvement – Continuously seek to improve in worship, character, and work.

4. Spread Goodness – Help others and set a good example in society.

5. Pray for Ihsan – Ask Allah for strength to practice excellence in all aspects of life.

Relationship Between Niat (Intention), Amal (Actions), and Ihsan (Excellence)

In Islam, niat (intention), amal (actions), and ihsan (excellence) are deeply interconnected. A person’s actions are only meaningful and rewarded by Allah if they are based on sincere intentions and performed with excellence.

• Niat (Intention) – The Foundation of Actions:

Niat is the starting point of every action. It determines whether an action is accepted by Allah or not.

• Amal (Actions) – The Physical Execution:

Amal refers to the actual performance of an act, whether it is prayer, charity, kindness, or work. Good intentions alone are not enough; they must be followed by righteous actions.

• Ihsan (Excellence) – The Highest Level of Action

Ihsan is about performing every action in the best possible way with sincerity, dedication, and awareness that Allah is watching. Without ihsan, an action may be done carelessly or without full effort.

The relationship between niat (intention), amal (actions), and ihsan (excellence) in Islam is deeply connected. In essence, a good intention must lead to righteous actions, and those actions should be done with excellence to gain Allah’s full reward.

Allah says in Surah Al-Ankabut (29:45):

"Recite what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prevents immorality and wrongdoing. And the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows what you do."

• Key Points from This Verse:

1. Command to Establish Prayer – Salah is an essential obligation for every Muslim.

2. Prevention of Evil and Immorality – A properly performed prayer strengthens faith and keeps a person away from sinful acts.

3. Remembrance of Allah is the Greatest – Salah is not just a ritual but a means of constantly remembering Allah.

4. Allah’s Knowledge of Actions – Allah is fully aware of a person’s sincerity in prayer and actions.

Conclusion:

Salah is more than just a duty; it serves as a protection against wrongdoing and strengthens a Muslim’s connection with Allah.

2. Fasting (Sawm)

   Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 183

Allah says in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:183):

"O you who have believed, fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, so that you may attain taqwa (God-consciousness)."

• Key Points from This Verse:

1. Fasting is an Obligation – It is a divine command for all believers.

2. A Universal Practice – Fasting was also prescribed for past nations, showing its spiritual significance.

3. Purpose of Fasting: Taqwa – Fasting is a means to develop self-discipline, patience, and closeness to Allah.

Conclusion:

Fasting is not just about abstaining from food and drink but serves as a way to strengthen faith, self-control, and consciousness of Allah (taqwa).

3. Hajj (Pilgrimage)

   Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 197

Allah says in Surah Al-Baqarah (2:197):

"Hajj is [during] well-known months, so whoever has made Hajj obligatory upon himself, there should be no indecent speech, misbehavior, or argument during Hajj. And whatever good you do – Allah knows it. And take provisions, but indeed, the best provision is taqwa (God-consciousness). So fear Me, O people of understanding."

• Key Points from This Verse:

1. Hajj is Performed in a Specific Time – It must be done in the designated Islamic months.

2. Moral Conduct During Hajj – Pilgrims must avoid indecency, misconduct, and disputes.

3. Allah Knows Every Good Deed – Any act of goodness, even small, is recognized by Allah.

4. Best Provision is Taqwa – While physical preparation is important, spiritual readiness and piety (taqwa) are the most valuable.

Conclusion:

Hajj is not only a physical journey but also a spiritual one, requiring good conduct, sincerity, and taqwa to attain Allah’s blessings.

4. Zakat (Charity)

   Surah At-Tawbah, Verse 103

Allah says in Surah At-Tawbah (9:103):

"Take from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them to increase, and invoke blessings upon them. Indeed, your supplication is reassurance for them. And Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing."

• Key Points from This Verse:

1. Zakat Purifies Wealth and Soul – Giving zakat cleanses a person’s wealth and heart from greed.

2. Zakat Increases Blessings – Instead of decreasing wealth, zakat brings barakah (blessings) and prosperity.

3. Prayers Bring Comfort – The supplication of the Prophet (or leaders) for those who give zakat provides reassurance and peace.

4. Allah is All-Knowing – Allah is aware of the sincerity behind every act of charity.

Conclusion:

Zakat is not just financial aid for the needy but a means of spiritual purification, personal growth, and receiving Allah’s blessings.

Khusyuk refers to a state of deep focus, humility, and devotion, especially in worship (ibadah), such as prayer (salah). It involves both the heart and mind, ensuring that a person is fully present, attentive, and sincere in their worship of Allah.

Key Aspects of Khusyuk:

1. Focus of the Heart – Feeling the presence of Allah and sincerity in worship.

2. Concentration of the Mind – Avoiding distractions and worldly thoughts.

3. Humility in Action – Displaying submission to Allah through respectful posture and attitude.

4. Calmness and Tranquility – Performing acts of worship without haste.

Quranic Reference:

Allah mentions khusyuk in Surah Al-Mu’minun (23:1-2):

"Successful indeed are the believers. Those who humble themselves in their prayers (have khusyuk)."

Surah An-Nisa (4:103): "Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers a decree of specified times."

2. Performing Prayer with Sincerity

Praying not just out of routine but with devotion and seeking Allah’s pleasure.

The Prophet (PBUH) said: "The first deed a servant will be held accountable for on the Day of Judgment is his prayer." (Hadith Tirmidhi)

3. Praying with Humility (Khusyuk)

Submission in salah is shown through khusyuk—praying with full focus and humility.

Surah Al-Mu’minun (23:1-2): "Successful indeed are the believers, those who humble themselves in their prayers."

• Al-Jihad (Struggle in the Path of Allah) in Salah

Aspects of Al-Jihad in Salah:

1. Struggling Against Laziness and Negligence

One of the greatest struggles is overcoming laziness in performing the five daily prayers.

Surah An-Nisa (4:142): "And when they stand for prayer, they stand lazily, showing [themselves to] the people and not remembering Allah except a little."

True jihad in salah means praying consistently and avoiding hypocrisy.

2. Overcoming External Challenges to Maintain Prayer

Some people face difficulties in praying due to busy schedules, work, studies, or even social pressure.

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:45): "And seek help through patience and prayer; indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah]."

Jihad in this context means making prayer a priority no matter the situation.

3. Struggling to Perform Prayer in Difficult Conditions

Some Muslims must struggle to pray due to illness, travel, or even persecution.

Islam provides ease, allowing tayammum (dry ablution), jamak (combining prayers), and qasar (shortening prayers) when necessary.

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:286): "Allah does not burden a soul beyond that it can bear."

In the context of salah (prayer), muhasabah helps a Muslim to analyze the quality of their prayer and strive for improvement.

Aspects of Muhasabah in Salah:

1. Evaluating Sincerity (Ikhlas) in Prayer

A person should reflect: “Am I praying sincerely for Allah, or just out of habit?”

Surah Al-Bayyinah (98:5): "And they were not commanded except to worship Allah, being sincere to Him in religion..."

True sincerity ensures that prayer is not done for show (riya’) but purely for Allah’s pleasure.

2. Reviewing Consistency in Performing Salah

Reflection: “Did I pray all five daily prayers on time?”

Surah An-Nisa (4:103): "Indeed, prayer has been decreed upon the believers a decree of specified times."

Delaying or missing prayers requires repentance and a stronger commitment to punctuality.

3. Repenting for Mistakes and Seeking Improvement

Reflection: “Have I asked Allah for forgiveness for past shortcomings?”

Muhasabah should lead to tawbah (repentance) and a commitment to improve salah.

• Tawaddu' (Humility and Humbleness) in Salah

Tawaddu' (التواضع) means humility and humbleness, which are essential qualities in a Muslim’s character, especially in salah (prayer). Salah is not just a ritual but an act of complete submission to Allah, requiring a humble heart and attitude.

Aspects of Tawaddu' in Salah:

1. Recognizing Our Weakness Before Allah

Salah reminds us that we are completely dependent on Allah’s mercy.

Surah Al-Hajj (22:77): "O you who have believed, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord and do good – that you may succeed."

Every movement in salah, from standing to prostration, signifies submission and humility.
