Medium: Watercolors

Reflection: This was my first art work for the semsester. At first, I was struggling with what medium to use and I went back and forth with colored pencils and watercolors but I finally settled. There are somethings I wish I could redo on this piece, like I wish I figured out the colors before I started and I later had to cover up a part where I messed up. Medium: Colored Pencils

Reflection: I drew this from one of my friends pictures she took on the field trip. I really liked the picture so I decided to draw that because it I really liked the colors and the setting of the flowers. I wish the crease in the middle of the piece wasnt there but it's there because I would take it home a lot to work on it. I like the colors I used because it makes the flower vibrant like the picture I model it after. I struggled with the background because I wanted to focus most, so I didn't really know what I wanted to do. Medium: Colored Pencils

Reflection: This was my favorite piece of the entire semester because I enjoyed the concept of the bird flying free and growing towards a new beginning. Some problems I stuggled with was the background and the smoke effect, which is why I cut it out and put it on a black background. I think it gives a more darker effect, and the light around the bird gives it that innocent aura.
