Meeting people from another country was really fun and interesting. Knowing about some aspects of their culture and talking about ours made me think of my context and made me want to know more about the world and my home place. I really look forward to more experiences like this and get to know better, and get along well with my team.

So I really wanted to take this as an opportunity to learn more about Mexico and communicate with others! I did have a bit of worries a few minutes before we started because I feared that my group mates may not clearly understand me due to language barriers. But it went more smoothly than I expected and we engaged in a fun and comfortable conversation soon after! I really hope to talk more with them in the coming days when we have the time!🥹

Although there was definitely some awkwardness and nervousness in the beginning, we soon eased into each other as we discussed our location, living conditions, cultural experiences, and many more! The exchange really made me grateful for the things that are present in the Philippines, but at the same time, it made me reflect on the things that we could still improve on. I'm so excited for further exchanges as we go along this journey together :D
