my heavy vehicle pathway reflection

I have found it hard doing pathways this has gave me a taste of what is like to have a job. I had to change pathways because I didn't like business studies and it was hard. I changed to heavy vehicle. You can see in my reflections I have struggled with lots of things like forgetting my overalls, using and making the tools, but this was something i was more interested in.

Get merits in all of my remaining assignment's so i can progress on to vocational access level 1 or car and maintenance level 1.

. Attend all lessons and complete all classwork and assignments to a high standard.

. Hand in all assignments on time to pass the course.

I can do this by (support):

asking staff if i need support
manage the workload by checking in with my tutors
complete any unfinished assignments, use tutorial if i need extra time
set reminders and check Microsoft teams to see when my assignment deadlines are
talk to a learning coach if i am struggling.

this is a realistic goal and I would like to complete this by the end of the college year.

I started working a lot harder as we were being assessed and I had a good mark on my tool i created. I have now done the theory of tools and have moved on to daily vehicle checks that i really enjoy. I will continue to work hard as this is what i want to do in the future. I have worked hard to improve myself.

Improve my problem solving skills to help me on the level 1 courses i am applying for. I will need good problem solving skills if i go on to car and maintenance level 1 as i will need to deal with a lot of situations. This could be broken tools, i would have to get new ones to fix the cars. or if a staff member didn't turn up to work i would need to know what to do.

by learning more about cars so i have to knowledge to help me solve problems.
then i could practice on my mum and dads cars instead of them going to the garage and paying hundreds
