I think that it is great achievement for this little country. My great grandparents were there fight on the World War I and my grandfather was on the World War II when they kept our independency.

Nowdays it is a museum. If you want to visit at the mill museum you can go and get a guided tour, it is not even allowed to go there by yourself. 
Verla is one the UNESCO'S Wold Heritage list.

Verla groundwood mill was established in 1872 by Hugo Neuman. Unfortunately it burnt down two years later in 1874. It was rebuilt in 1882 and then they also build there a board mill. groundwood mill burned again in 1892 and then they decided to mason it by bricks. 

Mill was closed in 1964 and museon was opened in 1972.  
Factory changed it's owner many times because of corporate acquisitions and it's latest owner is UPM-Kymmene Oy.

Many companies went bankrupt and many people was unemployed. 
Situation get better when Nokia step into the picture. 
On 2008 situation was bad again but luckily not as bad as last time. Now it is getting better very slowly step by step. 
Most exported products from Finland are chemical industry (18,8%), wood industry (21,5%), machinery industry (21,0%) and metal industry (14,7%) products. 
Finland's top trading partners are Germany, Sweden and Russia.

Studying in Finland is totally free in primary school, which is from 1st to 9th grade. This is also mandatory for everyone and it includes study, books and food.
Next you can choose from vocational school to high school. There you only have to pay about books and other studying materials but food is free. After that there's university or university of applied scienses where you pay your food but there's still not any semestery fees. 
70 per cent of Finnish people have continued their studies after primary school.

In Finland we have occupational health care. Working times and salaries are determinated by law. Many employer gives extra benefits to their employees like company car or telephone. Usually they also gives free cultural, lunch or exercise vouchers.

Because of everyman's right you don't even need landowner's permission or you don't have to pay anything.
Main thing is that you respect nature and other people. You can enjoy about the nature by walking, riding a horse or boating. You can spend a night in a tent and pick up berries or catch the fishes.
