Substitution: Students create their own Padlet with Digital and/or text-based posts (rather than putting Post-it notes on a class bulletin board).
Augmentation: Students continue to work on the Padlet inside and outside of class on given topics. (instead of just limited to class time).
Modification: Students can give direct feedback on peer posts using Padlet. Students use the feedback to improve their work and then decide whether or not other posts should be approved or need improvement.

Redefinition: It becomes a Transformative Pedagogy by personalised virtual collaborative blog/discussion board where lessons become interactive inside and outside of the classroom. Rather than being a Didactic Pedagogy having traditional verbal discussions limited only in the classroom.

Blogging Beyond one Classroom (Langwitches 2013).
