Max: Did you enjoy school?

Hector: I didn’t enjoy it as much as I had to do it, my parents were really big in school so I did not enjoy it and wasn't fun.

Max: What did you want to be when you grew up?

Hector: I always wanted to be a lumberjack, cut trees.

Max: Tell me about how you got into your line of work.

Hector: well constructuction was low and i decided to get a new career, a computer analyst seemed to be  perfect for me.

Max: Describe your career.

Hector: currently we work I work for schools for a district I'm repairing computers making sure everything is fine, making sure internet, making sure your kids don't go into websites that they're not supposed to do so, a computer analyst.  

Max: Was there an event or person that helped lead you to your calling?

Hector: Yes there was two, an event 9-1-1 what happened in September 11th killed all the construction so I had to find a new career and Joe Requeiro who I had worked with previously had gotten into this IT line of work and he offered me a scholarship.

Max: What was one of the biggest challenges you’ve faced?

Hector: going back to college after 20 years it was really tough i was 20 when i started college and i was 40 when i came back to school,  its a huge challenge.

Max: What is one of the biggest lessons you have learned?

Hector: working hard if, you don't work hard you don't, you don't succeed in this world

Max: Describe one of your greatest accomplishments.

Hector: playing professional baseball… in Mexico

Max: How is your career fulfilling?

Hector: well it makes me happy going to work every day knowing that I make a difference with students and the school, and it also brings food to the table.

Max: How do you want to be remembered?

Hector: it's not up to me i guess people who know me will remember me however they want, i'm not a legend.

Max: What are your hopes for the future?

Hector: i hope the next generations are smarter than the lasts.

Max: What dreams do you have for me?

Hector: my biggest dream is that you finish college become a successful person in whatever you do, whatever you decide to do and have a lot of kids cause i want grandsons.
