Within the republicans with high income ($75,000 or more), only 19% of them say that economic inequality is a very big problem. With an income of $30K to $74,999, only 26% of them say that economic equality is a very big problem. With an income of less than $30,000, 40% of the republicans say that economic inequality in the U.S. is a very big problem. Within the democrats, all three different levels of income have similar percentages of the democrats saying that economic inequality is a very big problem. Comparing the republicans’ say to the Democrats’ say on economic inequality, we can see how democrats mainly lean towards the idea of economic inequality being a very big problem.
