Canva is a tool that most users use to facilitate their process of creating and editing a poster/picture/presentation, but it dawns on me that we can make the most of this tool to create a video.
On Canva, there is a section to make a video where you can choose many available templates to edit. Besides, many editing actions can be done from trimming the video to adding some animations from the sources on Canva. What struck me the most is that Canva gives you a platform to work on a video with your friends, which lessens the inconvenience of downloading and sending files.
When I was a sophomore, I used Canva to create a clip to summarize the main ideas for the lesson. At first, I found it quite hard to be familiar with the new interface; however, after that, everything came in handy as I could add the effect for any features of the video (letters, images, animations, etc) in just a few clicks. - What the tool can do:

Photopea is a free web-based tool consisting of features similar to those of Adobe Photoshop.
Its interface is similar to Photoshop and is even more user-friendly, so it won't take us much time to get used to should we want to switch to professional use on Photoshop.
It allows users to open a wide variety of file types from the computer or from a URL.
It also offers a lot of PSD templates for users to choose from and create their own designs.

- Personal experience:

For me, Photopea is fairly easy to use and I can access it anywhere, all I need is an Internet connection. Thanks to it, I don't have to free up my computer space to install and run Photoshop. Moreover, I don't need to have an account to use, as the free version doesn't limit me from using any features it has.
However, since it is a web-based tool, it depends much on the speed of my connection, which is why sometimes it lags and becomes unresponsive to any of my commands. On top of that, pop-up ads can be a real nuisance when I'm trying to concentrate on my work.

It offers posting to social media and connecting with other artists, however, security is something to worry about as works are sometimes stolen and plagiarized. In my first year of university, a predecessor instructed me to use Powtoon to devise content for the Reading and Writing 1 presentation. Every problem I ever had with any video editor was solved when I switched to power director.

When I started to make videos for educational purposes I went immediately to google and researched which free program was the best to use and I tried most of them.

VSDC was reliable but way to clunky and slow to manage everything. Cutting and syncing clips was extremely difficult.

Davinci resolve 12.5 was what i settled on next.Something with OBS studio was corrupting my recording and davinci would become not responsive.

I went to look online to see if there was another free video editor to download and I saw that there was an ad for cyperlink power director 15, so i clicked on the ad and went to YouTube. I had watched hundreds of reviews and they said it was a great program so I bit the bullet and spent what I believe was around $50 for Power director 15 with all the add-ons and audio editor.

This program is amazing. My file corrupting problems went away and the render time is much faster than what I was using before.

My one gripe was that cutting clips and sync can get some time to get use to and learning what every button and function can be overwhelming for newbies to editing ;however. So far in the 3 months I've owned and used it I haven't had one single problem

Animaker is so friendly user that many people can create videos quickly and effectively.
- We can form the characters we want (like dress up game), make animation for the them as well as embed the audio (voice) for them.
