In the European Union each person generates 487 kg of waste per year. Imagine the giant amount of waste that a whole family can generate. A way to reduce this waste is to start using products that are more ecofriendly (Glass jars, solid shampoos, toothbrushes made out of bambú and a big variety of other products.), and reduce the use of products such as fabric softeners, etc.

Schools are buildings full of hundreds of students who every day produce a large amount of garbage (such as paper, plastic wraps, etc.) and a great waste of energy (becouse the ligts of the classes remain on). A solution to this is to start a program that will consist in rewarding students who bring non-polluting products, avoiding any type of plastic or non-recyclable material. Also solar panels will be installed in the rooftop generating solar energy so as not to spend so much electricity.

It is normal now a days to find trash in the sand when you go to the beach or even in the streets when you are walking, and that is horrible!. A solution to this problem is to create an initiative that will consist in celebrating a competition in your town. The winner of this competition will be the one that colects more trash from the beach or from the street (depending on whether your town is by the sea or not). And the price will be a hundred euros.

One big problem that we have to fix is the amount of plastic that you can found in the sea. There is even a plastic island of almost two million square kilometers in the middle of the ocean. A solution I think will solve this problem is to start making things that were previously made with plastic, with materials that are biodegradable like algae. That when being in contact with the sea they would dissolve and even serve as food for the fish.
