When the Lord comes He is opening the door for Heaven. He is making our way for heaven easier so we can return to Him for eternity.

Jesus is our sins, as He is nailed to the cross we lose the guilt of sin through Him.

The devil's threats mean nothing to a strong follower of Christ.

This song is also based on the perspective of Jesus's rock, Peter.

Peter is forgiven, like all of us by Jesus. The Lord is alive which forgives us of our sins.

We are calling the Holy Spirit to come onto us, to fill us up. To open the gates of Heaven when we are dulled with the Holy Spirit.

"Come rest on us So come down."

The Holy Spirit is coming down on all Jesus's followers, allowing them to join with Him in heaven.
