We are a primary school (2.5-12years) in full growth. At the moment, about 250 children follow Jenaplan education in grade classes. Our ECO-school is located in the green on a site with a rich coal mining history.

The Křišťál School is private school with 55 pupils and 14 teachers and assistants. We tech kids aged 6 - 16. The school uses, in the spirit of the Jenský Plan, a mixed-age class system. We consider it advantageous to educate mixed-age groups that can naturally enrich each other. Teaching takes place in blocks and we learn according to learning progress maps. Our goal is to help each student achieve their personal maximum, not to prevent them from further development. We do not grade students, we use verbal formative assessment, and we lead to self-assessment.

We had a truly valuable and enriching experience during our time in the Netherlands. I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Yno Hendriksen for kindly hosting us at De Kleine Planeet in Deventer. We were met with a warm welcome and greatly appreciated the opportunity for the children to become actively involved in the educational process.

The older students participated in activities at JenaXL, where we did encounter certain challenges. However, we view these experiences as valuable lessons and opportunities for growth in the future.

Our doors remain open, and we are always ready to welcome and collaborate with anyone who is interested. :-)
