We have seen this theme in Mildred's overdose incident. Bradbury compared the suction machines to a black cobra sucking blood. Also, while Montag was arriving to work he was greeted by the vicious Mechanical Hound. It also mentions the symbol of the Phoenix on the firemen's uniform

In the Mechanical Hound case, it can be describe as "lived but did not live"(pg.24) which can relate to the theme, Animal and Nature Imagery. The key idea to this is that the hound technically is alive, but did not have it own mind and being control by others through technology and machinery. In addition, the hound would also be described as having insect legs and reacts to approaching things mindlessly due to it set up "memory". Overall, the connection to the Hound and the theme is that.
