For instance, when Sunway Construction Berhad (a subsidiary of Sunway Berhad) alongside Malaysian Resources Corp Berhad (MRCB) had won the LRT extension contracts, it would require a lot of temporary construction employees to complete the project. As the construction period for the project is only 20 months, these construction employees are committed for that certain period of time and they are disbanded once the project is completed. 

     

    Task group is important to achieve a specific goal within a specific period of time as in the case of the LRT extension project. Sunway Construction will select employees with a similar experience in the past to the current project and allocate tasks to be accomplished in order to meet the deadline. A task group is easy to reach a decision that all members of the group agreed on and this could reduce any hindrance to the decision that was made. This is essential to Sunway Construction which is a company that has a lot of construction project to cater the public.
