It creates a space for audiences to question things which are widely accepted as the traditional, historical, and social norm, and has a look at the very real possible future if we continue as we are.

Popular American pop artist, his work is still sold in many stores and sites today. From phone cases sold by castify, to clothing sold by H&M his unique style and imagery has continued to capture audiences. His symbolic and distinct art style inspired by Egyptian hieroglyphics has many hidden meanings and messages about a range of topics. 

It is interesting to see his work sold for profit by big organisations. Even though it makes his art more accessible to the masses, it may also undermine a lot of his message. I personally didn't know that he was an activist, and I have seen his art sold in lots of different stores. His continued popularity brings profit to the companies who use his art, however, they may also inspire people to research more about him and his beliefs.
