I chose this because the antagonist in the movie Auto the ship's autopilot constantly manipulates, lies, and uses this to control people in the movie. He does this because he is also being controlled by a higher power Buy n Large a company. You can relate this to O'Brien and the party because in the book O'Brien is manipulated into thinking the party is right and what he is doing is good.
