The robot (Roby) moves on a grid, whose boxes can be  yellow, red or grey, corresponding to three different rotations. The robot moves on the grid remaining on each card only the time necessary to look at its color, interpret it and perform the corresponding rotation:

If the card is yellow, the robot rotates 90 degrees counterclockwise, turning to the left.

If the card is red, the robot rotates 90 degrees clockwise, turning to the right.

If the card is grey, the robot continues straight.

Once the rotation has been carried out, go to the next box, which is the one in front of you after the rotation.

For this occasion  I created a special event called “A day as  an astronaut” on EU CodeWeek 2018 Map.

The pupils had the pleasure to know astrophysicists of ESA space agency, to participate in science labs for kids  and to meet the  ESA astronaut Paolo Nespoli, too! They play with CodyRoby chessboard by running the  code to find the different parts of astronaut equipment, then writing the code themselves to reach the food allowed for astronauts. Lots of FUN!!!
