These are the final responses to the Protest posters. I looked at using a Nuclear sign as it stands out, and will catch peoples attention. I then decided to add a stop logo, and place it in front of the logo. I then looked a different colour combinations, fonts and composition to make more unique versions of the poster. Overall, I am happy with how it turned out, as it is eye-catching and clearly displays my thoughts on war. On the other hand, I feel like I could have included more variations to create something more striking.

As we were looking at Collages to portray revolution, For my 3rd Initial artist I looked at Raoul Hausmann. His style was very uncanny, and gritty; which portrays an inhuman aspect to the art. Their use of revolution in the art is abstract as you have to find out what the art is explaining.

We had to look at collage art, as a lot of the artists of this style use it to emphasize their ideals and beliefs. So I had a go at making some collage art. I found some newspaper that was presented to the class, and then cut out the parts I wanted to use. I came up with this, a simple man sitting with a cartoony sun replacing the head. This response reminds me of the art-style of Art Spiegelman, as he uses cartoony heads portrayed on more realistic bodies.

Here I looked at what my setting could look like. I wanted my project to be set in a 'Supercity' like Tokyo, so I looked at a lot of anime-esque settings. I also wanted the city to look like a Utopia from the outside, to hide the dystopia within. So I looked at various bright structures.

The first artist I chose to research was Ben Nicholas, this is due to his more futuristic settings and simple style. His style is Shape- based which can work with my style. He also uses a lot of vibrant colour.

Here I looked at his work, and then drew snippets of them onto my sketchbook. I then introduced some colour onto them to mimic his vibrant palette. His style is more shape-based, which could translate well into a more line oriented style like mine. However, It looks more messy than his art.

The second artist I chose to research was Koyoharu Gotouge. I chose her as her style is more unique and has influenced my artstyle. Her style is a more stylized manga artstyle, that use more sharp linework, but uses Vibrant colour when needed. This works with my artsyle as it is also Vibrant.

This is the final outcome for this project. I planned on creating a front cover that accurately depicted both the setting I created as well as the characters I created. I am somewhat happy with how the outcome turned out, as I created a good sense of motion while also showcasing the basis for the story. However, I feel like I could have improved on the shading and the colouring, by introducing lighting somewhere.

Overall, I am content with the finished outcome. I can relate this with the theme of games since a lot of games create concept art that include their characters and their setting.

I could've improved this outcome by creating different versions of it, by using different mediums such as markers, paint and using digital software.
