One who has not attended all year attended and participated on time (K student) and another who was a regular attender learned to 'beat the system' and now only comes to school for morning meeting and no classes. One of the mom's told me both kids were crying because it was so hard for them. I learned that even when I prep the kids for what the test may be: some questions may be easy and some may be too hard. Some questions we may not have covered in class yet. He came to the larger group not realizing he would be getting the test in with his sub-separate teacher during his normal class time. (oh know... :(
