The second tale reflects on Connor by. Showing how even the most powerful ways of healing and medcine dont always worck. This connets to Conner by how the yew tree might not help his mom. Even thow it is the most powerful medcine. His mom had tried everything that she could. Just like thows 2 girls in the storys . 
The thierd tale reflects on Conner by. being seen. In the story the monster said the man was seen after he had been invisble for a long time.
