With this in mind, we are still in the process of deciding whether the students will need to have a good understanding of using technology, or whether if we are able to ensure that the MOOCS has a super user friendly interface.

Both Iinstructionism and constructivist methods will need to be employed to impart the knowledge as owned by the commuity but then to also allow the student to take ownership.
There are some challenging factors:
- when considering the learning environment, whilst 'How learning happens' is an important factor, the 'entire environment' will need to be considered in order to ensure the wider needs of the student are met e.g ability to collaborate and share experiences with other students.
- the impact of culture will need to be considered carefully - in vocational training cultures may differ between different organisations within the same industry.
- how to address the differences where learning is a socio -learning construct. If each student brings different experiences from their interaction with the real world, how will the mooc address all eventualities?
