To care for the wound you must clean the wound with a non-firbe shedding material or sterile gauze .

There is no referral needed for post care all you need to do is cover the wound with a non-stick sterile dressing

The initial care for the wound is to apply direct pressure to the wound. Use gauze, a clean cloth, plastic bags, or if you dont have these things use a clean hand

Keep the area clean and use topical antibiotic ointment twice daile until the wound dries out and a follow up to the doctor for signs of infection

Wash hands before and after touching wound

inspect insision every day

look for bleeding

avoid wearing tight clothing on wound

gently wash and always care for wound

Apply gentle pressure with a clean cloth or bandage

This wound needs to be referral to a spedicalist immediently

Taken to the hospital for care

keep it clean

Change bandage if it gets dirty
