This is my best art piece of the year because I got to used at least one complementary color in this piece of art, such as whether it is red and green; yellow and purple; or orange and blue. During, this art piece I learned how to use different items other than a paint brush, such as using a pallet knife to spread my paint colors onto the paper. I even learned how to properly mixed my paint colors to create my own color pallet of complementary colors, such as making hue, tints, and dark and light shades.

But between the two that I like the most this one seems like the best for an open-house setting. A lot of these assignments have us drawing in 4 sections of the page, and everyone always seperates them into 4x4 boxes evenly placed on the page. I like to have a little bit more fun with those, making a more abstract seperation, and allowing them to dynamically cross over into eachother in a way that feels natural. It almost has a comic-book appeal to it.
