The "american dream" is ridiculously stereotypical. Having the mindset of being financially stable, a "perfect" family, and a nice house isn't what your goals should be. America is combusted of different acculturation and everyone aims for different goals. The mindset of an "american dream" is rather a setereotype than a goal every millenial, immigrant, or adult is striving for.

The fact that you can lead the last generation into a state of not having to worry about money is something that baffles me. You can become anything you want, and never take no as an answer.

The American Dream is the belief that anyone, regardless of where they were born or what class they were born into, can attain their own version of success in a society where upward mobility is possible for everyone. The American Dream is achieved through sacrifice, risk-taking and hard work, not by chance.

The American dream shall varies from person to person. For some, it may be having a family and a steady job. For others, however, it may be accomplishing certain goals they set out for themselves. Either way, everyone has their own American dream to be successful. It is up to them to decide if they reach it. I do agree will some of what the other readers have to say about the American Dream, but not to all responses.
