Main ideas
1- Misalignment between surfaces in the entirety or a section of a system like a pump shaft.

2- Wear of materials, when a gear become worn they might lead to vibration as the stress flows over the damaged area

3- Loose components like loose bolts cause forces that lead to excessive vibration 

4- Imbalance in the rotating parts, manufacturing defects like machining errors in a component will cause a vibration as the machine speed increases

5- Resonance, when a rotation frequency come across the natural frequency of a machine, resonance occurs, thus this lead to an aggressive vibration.
