This photo shows my two friends Chanel and Ashlee hugging each other. The message I wanted to send through this photo was that no matter what, your friends are always there for you.
For this photo, I think black and white suited the mood of this photo really well because this picture is really heartwarming.

1/5300
f/5.6
ISO 800

This is a photo that I captured of a PE class doing pacers. In this photo, I wanted to show how determined they were to get a good score, and this shows that you should never stop until you achieve something.
For this photo, it was hard to get the 7th graders in a picture, when they were moving, but I fixed this by upping the shutter speed.

1/5300
f/5.6
ISO 800

This is a photo of my friend, Chanel. She was spinning around and I managed to capture this photo of her with her hair in the air. I wanted to show how carefree you can be even in hard times.
For this photo, I wanted a unique angle, and that's why I tilted the camera for the picture to look like this. I was surprised that I managed to capture her hair in motion, but it looks really good.

1/5300
f/5.6
ISO 800

Framing

This is one of the principles of photography, framing. I used my friend, Chanel's hands for framing. I wanted to show that by framing, you can see how things will look like in a picture, painting, or something else.
For this photo, it was a struggle to get the right angle. Since Chanel's arms were stretched out, I had to move the camera under her arms and take the shot.

1/1000
f/13
ISO 1600

Bokeh

This is another principle of photography, bokeh. Again, my friend Chanel posed for the camera, and surprisingly, the photo has traces of rule of thirds also. In bokeh, the background is supposed to be blurry and the subject is supposed to be in focus.
For this photo, it was kind of hard to get the background perfectly blurry and the subject perfectly clear, but I figured it out by using manual focus.

1/3200
f/5.6
ISO 1600

This is a selfie of me with a dog filter on SnapChat. I really like my pose and angle in this selfie, because it gives the viewer something to look at, and the angle makes the photo more interesting.
For this selfie, although the angle looks good, it was definitely hard to hold the camera that way. I fixed that problem by resting my hand on my be while taking the selfie.

This photo was taken on my iPhone.

This is another principle of photography, rule of thirds, taken of my friend, Ashlee. In this photo, she is jumping on the right side, making it rule of thirds.
For this photo, one of the struggles was capturing the photo while Ashlee was jumping. I have to say, this isn't one of my best photos, but I think the general idea and concept of the photo turned out well.

1/5300
f/5.6
ISO 800

This is one of the many principles of photography on here, leading lines. These metal rails were by the ASB door and when I stepped through, I could see the leading lines.
For me, there wasn't much of a struggle because all I had to do was squat in the middle of the bars and take the picture. I decided to not do black and white for this photo because the contrast of the colors worked nicely together.

1/5000
f/5.6
ISO 800

This is yet another principle of photography, repetition and patterns. This picture is of a bench at school. To be honest, this photo is a little bit boring to me, but I couldn't find anything else that had repetition or patterns.
This photo really wasn't a struggle for me at all, I just couldn't show the edges of the bench because it wouldn't look as appealing to the eye. I decided for this photo to be black and white, because I think that suits the overall mood of this photo.

1/5300
f/5.6
ISO 800

This is a picture of my neighborhood, but in a very unusual and unique way. This was one of my favorite pictures out of all the pictures I took of my neighborhood, because the sun was going right down, and I liked the reflection against the car.
This photo had very little struggle because, since I was showing the sunset and my neighborhood from a reflection, the camera had to be at a certain angle, but it all turned out very nice.

1/1000
f/2.5
ISO 1600
