We'll Begin this activity by gathering a variety of puppet characters. There will be a variety of girl puppets, boy puppets, adult puppets, and different puppet accessories. They have a storyboard to demonstrate their stories behind the curtains. The children will be in pairs of 3 and will be asked to each select a boy, girl, adult, and pet of their choice, and come up with a story/ fairytale together to show the class. They'll be given 10-15 minutes or shorter,( depending on each group's pace.) to come up with a story. Storytelling helps children express their feelings and emotions physically, while also learning how to talk in situations and working together. Acting out their emotions is good for their speaking skills and imagination. This also makes the kids feel more comfortable talking and wanting to read.

The children will be provided a paper with the color labeled at the top of each box, the blank space in the box is for the children to draw what they see that is the same color as the labeled color at the top of each box. The children will walk around outside together and explore the nature around them while finding objects to draw for their list. This is a sensory lesson to help the children with their learning while also being outside in a different environment.

The children will be given a paper grid with different shapes and labeled at the top is a color for each shape. Then they will be given colored shape-cut outs and will be asked to sort the shapes onto the correct spot on the grid. This gives the children a visual way of learning to sort and place things correctly.

The children will be in groups of 4 and be given the cards for the game. Labeled on the cards are rows of different items and the number of the item. The children will have to work together to place the number chip in the correct spot. One child be assigned to call the number out and another child will help that child if needed. Then the other two children will work together to identify where the number chip goes. This helps the kids work on their social skills and learn how to work with others.

The materials we'll need are dominos, sticky notes, and markers. The children will be split up into half of the class and the other half. There will be dominos given to each side to the kids and one kid from each side will take the marker they are given and mark numbers 1-10. Then they will work together to select at least 2-4 ways that the different numbers on the dice equal the same number on the sticky note. This shows them that one number can have different number solutions to equal it.

Each child will be given colored construction paper and will cut it into whatever shapes they choose to do. Then they will use the cutouts to trace the shapes in any color chalk on a separate paper. The materials we'll begin with are glow sticks and empty tubs. The children will be asked to select two colors from the glow sticks and then the kids will gather around in a circle on the carpet, with their tubs in front of them. Then the teacher will turn off the lights and begin singing nursery rhymes with the children and getting them to drum along with the beat as they sing.

The children will all gather together in rows sitting crisis cross on the carpet. Then each child will get a chance to stand up in front of the class and act out the following themes, type of animal, Type of food, working somewhere, or a scene chosen by the child. The rest of the kids will be asked to guess what the other is while they're acting out what they choose to do. Then I'll switch it up and have the children get into group 3 and act out different children's stories of their choice to present to the other groups.
