      <description>Boiling water with a Bunsen burner!
In Science, we boiled water using a Bunsen burner, we had to turn on the gas, spark up the flint and steel and apply the flame to the Bunsen burner! On top was a metal frame, and on top of that was a glass beaker filled with tap water.
At first I thought the Bunsen burner would boil the water at about 110 degrees Celsius.
You will need a beaker,about 350 ml of water, Flint and steel, a Bunsen burner,gas, safety goggles, lab coats (optional)and a thermometer.
We heated up the Bunsen burner and the water was boiling in the beaker and it was producing bubbles inside! Ours did not finish boiling, but one group got exactly 100 degrees Celsius on their thermometer!
But no one surpassed 100 degrees Celsius and most groups got results in the 90 area.
In conclusion, this experiment was fun to do.
