He established the Cupid Players in 1999 to create and perform comedic sketches with a musical dimension in theaters around the U.S. Brian Posen’s accomplishments with the group include directing the show “Cupid Has a Heart On,” the longest-running comedic show in Chicago history. He has produced hundreds of theatrical shows and taught at institutions such as Columbia College Chicago and the University of Illinois, as well as respected theater training programs like Second City and Act One Acting Studio. Mr. Posen also founded the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival in 2001 and served 16 years as its executive producer.
