because everywhere we can see the green color, that is the national color of Ireland. :)

On St. Patryk's favorite thing is that people organize big, fancy parties. Everyone has a good time at festivals and various parades, and can try traditional green Irish beer or whiskey and have fun with friends and family. Everything and enyone is green for this day even lake in New York!

I like St. Patrick's Day because people go out on the streets and celebrate together. They dress in green and drink green beer :). On this day, parades, festivals and games are organized, which I like to go to every year. In Poland, the holiday is not that popular, but I hope it will change someday.

What I like the most about St. Patrick's day is a fact that all of the Irish people go out on streets and celebrate together in a true traditional fashion. There are huge parties held that day and everyone is having a great time with their friends, families and also lots of strangers. People wear green clothes, they drink green bear and shoot green fireworks! It truly is a great day and it's a shame that it is not as popular in Poland as it is in Ireland. I would love to go to there and celebrate this amazing day with all of the Irish people. People in Ireland are great, they're very helpful, generous and communicative, I think this is what makes St. Patrick's Day so special, it's the Irish community that makes it unforgettable.

There are few reasons why I like Saint Patrick’s Day :

- This day is free from school and work. In some countries could be more than one.
- There are many colorful parades around Ireland and other parts of the world and many important buildings are lit with green lighting.
- Families visit each other to have traditional Irish food (like cabbage and corn beef) together.
I don’t like one thing about Saint Patrick’s Day:
- For some people that is excuse to drink too much whisky and beer.

I like Saint Patrick"s Day because there is a lot going on this day. It is a religious and national day for all of Ireland. On this day, the Irish are off work. Who was Saint Patrick? He brought christianity to this country. There are two legends about his arrival in Ireland. The first says that Saint Patrick drove all the snakes out of the island. The secend, more likely, tells that as a teenagers he was kidnapped to Ireland. He was then able to return to England. He became a priest and returned to Ireland to convert to christianity. How do we go about this day? holy mass is celebrated in the chuch. Celebrations and pasades are organized.Irish flags are displayed. Green is the dominant color around. Many people dress in green. There are also green clovers everywhere. People also drink green beer.on march 17, the water at Niagara Falls was dyed green. Water in the Chicago River. and even the town hall in Poznań.

I have no doubt that Saint Patrick's Day is one of the most fascinating holidays in Ireland. It's especially worth knowing that people celebrate this day not only in Ireland. For example in Gdansk, some viaducts and anchors glow green. Literally, everything turns green, and this is wonderful. Have you ever heard of green beer? I didn't know about it, but it seems to be AMAZING! Honestly, this beer doesn't come from Ireland but was invented in New York by Irish American Dr. Thomas Hayes Curtin. One more interesting thing... Did you know that there is a shamrock on the Irish Guard cap badge? But hold on, I haven't mentioned my favorite thing on this day yet. The last but not least, it looks incredible when so many people are dressed in the same way. Imagine you be one of the people taking a parade. That would be so great... Not gonna lie, I think this day is brilliant.

It is fascinating how the locals celebrate this day. In Ireland, St. Patrick's Day is a day off from work. The green color is the symbol of the country, so the inhabitants are dressed up all day long. It's hard to believe that people are so involved in this holiday. The best example of this is Dublin, where a music, dance and art festival takes place for several days. I really like how this day brings people together and how they can have fun together. What do I like about the traditions of this holiday? I love the color green, and during this holiday everything is green and that makes the biggest impression on me. What do I like about the traditions of St. Patrick's Day? I enjoy the story even if some parts aren't true.
I really like that green is the symbol of this holiday, it's such a happy color. Everything that day is green, they dress in it, which originated from wearing a shamrock pinned to your clothes, they even sell green beer. It's said that the three leaf of a shamrock were use to explain Holy Trinity.
I also love the fun part of St. Patrick's Day like the parades and the fact that it is a day off from work. The first st. patrick's day parade dates to 1762, wow that's amazing

Saint Patrick day

The traditions of St. Patrick's day are very pleasant for me.

I think that the most unique Ireland’s tradition is St. Patrick’s Day. On around March 17 Irish people celebrate the anniversary of the Saint Patrick’s death in many different ways. I love that many people dress up as leprechauns and take part in huge parades on the streets of Ireland. Also I adore traditional Irish dishes and green drinks that others enjoy in festival mood. I would love to take part someday in that wonderful tradition!

The Irish tradition which I like the most is Saint Patrick's Day. When I was four years old, my parents and I lived for a time in Ireland near Dublin.
