And Lord, help each of us to be a comfort to our friends.
Help us to give them what they need - whether that be words, practical help or space.  Guide us in deciding what, and when, to say and do.

We pray all of these things in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. AMEN

Lord God, we thank you for the gift that Joanne was to her family and to all who knew her.
We pray for all who are hurting so badly,
knowing the hurt is so deep only because the love is so great.
May happy memories of Joanne sustain them in their loss.
