1. Just understanding this class. This is probably my weakest class.

2. I have to read it to get it I am not a listen and then tell you what happened I don't retain the information as well. Also I read better when I am listening to music.

3. I have days that I am really tired and others that I have a lot of energy. I am usually pretty laid pack.

1. So we can look back; Look forward;; Tell a story so others can hear you and pass on knowledge.

2. To show how proud they are of their culture and family; memories.

3. Inform; show us about his project and how people love to tell stories for people to hear.

1. They wanted us to agree with how the Native Americans felt and all the trouble they went through to get the name changed.

2. I think that the team honored what it was portraying. I think people just don't like their culture being put out there without their culture.

She was a Puritan and didn't want to be famous. Like a puritan she wanted her poems to be hers and about her family. As a puritan she was embarrassed that everyone was reading about her life.

1. Taking time in your day to do something you love for at least 30 minutes.

2. I have realized that if I don't take time in my day to do something I enjoy I lose all drive to complete the things that are higher priority.

Throughout history the devil became more and more human the more he was drawn. He soon became Lucifer and then satan. Some saw Lucifer as a hero because he stood up against the higher powers.

They wanted to show that people not only did good and that some people are bad. People aren't perfect. Also to set an example of what is bad.

The leaves of grass was a book of poems that people did not appreciate until he was dead and they realized that it was good.
He wrote that america was a group not seperate places.

Makes you feel things directly

Comparing something in more than one sentence.

My book is a black hole. It sucks everything in. When you think you are free it pulls you right back in.

Realism
-Sad depressed
-Dark lighting
-Captured in everyday life

Romanticism
-Peaceful
-Soft lighting
-Facing out

It is more lively and the lighting is better. Also the sitting position is not very comfortable it looks more posed.

One defining difference is how the character is captured in the photo.

Freedom

I think freedom fits the theme the best because of all the imagery she used when telling her story. She was happy that she was no longer tied down even say how she is free.

Women were taking factory jobs in place of men. New working places were formed for women.

Birth control was now available. Students stopped working in harsh conditions and started going to school. More quality time for dates and friends due to automobiles.
