The title of my work is “hiking dog”. An element of my photo is capturing the light and the light and dark. The procedures I used to make this are Grab my phone ,checking the time, go out and finding an area that would be nice to take a photo, checking to make sure the lighting is what I wanted to be and taking a photo, later I  would go through and use the brightness slider to make the brightness lower or higher depending on if my photo was too bright when I took it so It would be more clear to people looking.  Someone that inspired my work was Nick Nichols because he takes great photos of animals with interesting backgrounds. The emotion I tried to show was the wonder and excitement of the outdoors. My goals were to try to capture the different lighting that was in the photo as well as get an image of an animal. This piece helped me become closer to reaching my goal. My overall thoughts of my artwork were that I enjoyed finding places to take photos and influencing my future artworks because of the scenery that may be in my art. Aims to depict our world as far away as from what we know it to look like. Distorting multiple exposure photographs allows me to do this. To almost have a trippy feeling to it.  

With multiple exposures and layers, using a polaroid shot and regular shot from my phone i was able to achieve these results quite easily. 

No inspiration for such work. I come up with these ideas in my head and am able to execute them however I think I need to.

My goals as in artist are to make work i like and not work i think other people would like. 

I usually like my art, its simple but nice on the eyes. maybe even to try and bring a nostalgic feeling to photos.

I used my phone mostly, and i just take the picture whenever i see my cat doing something cute. My cats inspire me to take the photos since they’re so photogenic and I love her, like the first one was a few months ago when she was younger she would often sleep in my drawers. I really like to have a calming feeling since I usually take photos when she's asleep or comfortable. I just want to take photos. I like taking photos of my cats and how they just exist.Most of these were just quick photos to capture the moment before I messed it up and woke her or didn't get the yawn in time.
