The setting of this book is very important because knowing that Johnny lives near Los Angeles you can predict that there is a lot of traffic and when the accident happened there was probably a lot of traffic before and after the accident.

Thoughts: The main character thinks that if he doesn't fix things in his family they are going to fold and fall apart, or something bad is going to happen to them again. I learned that the character is a very 
important piece to his family and that he is always there for people whenever they needed him.
Looks: Johnny looks like a tall senior with long brown hair and he looked like a person that whenever you looked at him you knew that he was a person that you can trust and a person that will always be there for you.

Actions: In the book Johnny made his dad go to one of Johnny’s sister’s basketball game because he never had been to one before.  When he got there he realized how good Charlotte really was.  You can tell from this part in the story that johnny fixed a lot of holes in his family that made them closer together.
