More, and more schools are ditching homework, and its working. According to studies done by the the U.S. School district attorney students are spending more, and more time on homework that could be spent with family. For example these studies show that ''in 2007 students spent approximately 6.8 hours of homework a week.'' '' In 2016 studies show that the average student spends 7.5 hours a week on homework.'' As these studies show students are spending less time with family, and less time for their own personal lifes. This information makes it apparent that homework is an unecessary time that students should have to live their own life.

Social media is consistently changing everyday. Along with that so are peoples opinions of themselves. According to relationship expert Clarissa Silva, "Match reported that 51% of people saying social media has made them feel more self conscious about their appearance" (Silva 2017). This goes to show that over half of social media users do not feel one bit of self confidence while using these apps. Proving that Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, etc ... have nothing but negative effects on young teenagers mental health.

Fingerprinting and other DNA swabs will be helpful in lowering the 1 in 20 wrongfully convicted persons on death row. In fact, according to the article “Miscarriage of Justice on the Wikipedia website, “ 4.1% of inmates awaiting execution on death row in the United States are innocent, and that at least 340 innocent people may have been executed since 1973”. This proves my claim that DNA testing needs to be an enforced law to avoid wrongful convictions.
