There are a big number of species that are found there and nowhere else. The birds don't evolve to adaptation to predators due to the fact that there's only a few. There are no snakes, foxes, raccoons, and no wild cats. There's only two predators on the islands and many birds are flightless. Hawaiian native species are a bar and a seal (two mammals).
