         <title>Our process for reporting plagiarism is flawed.  It takes a long time for faculty to file and then there is most often NO response from the campus.  It&#39;s frustrating for the faculty member, for me as their supervisor, and likely for the campus because they don&#39;t have staff/time to deal with it.</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Would like to see a broader identification system. Other institutions have MFA and other security measures in place that strive to make this more challenging (it won't fix the problem).&nbsp;<br><br>This doesn't directly impact me in my role with IDS.&nbsp;<br><br>I'd like to see OIT/the provost (assuming the provost is leaning towards the academic side of a provost role and not necessarily operations/personnel management) direct this with the entire College and discuss a comprehensive plan of how this will be addressed/identified and then steps/resources to take to deal with the situation.&nbsp;<br><br>This situation is only going to grow. As we handle and manage these situations, hopefully word will spread and it might disincentivize people from continuing this practice if there are real consequences. </div>]]></description>

I'd like to see more of an emphasis on embracing this rather than fear of it.&nbsp;<br><br>I'd like to see us discussing mitigation efforts AND ways that this can be beneficial.&nbsp;<br><br>As the leaders for online learning at the College, I'd love to see us come up with recommendations, practices, etc. that are endorsed by leadership to handle these types of tools in learning.&nbsp;<br><br>I also believe that we need to educate and empower faculty. In this instance I believe that a lack of understanding and knowledge is what is contributing to fear of the tool or negativity.&nbsp;<br><br>This affects my role greatly and is something I'd like to see us address holistically so we can begin to have these conversations with CCs and developers during the development process. </div>]]></description>
