         <description><![CDATA[<p>The main difference between "say" and "tell" is that&nbsp;<strong><mark>"say" focuses on the words spoken, while "tell" focuses on the information being communicated</mark></strong>.&nbsp;"Say" is often used for exact quotes, while "tell" is often used to give information to someone.</p><p><br></p><p>EXAMPLES:</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; SAY YOUR NAME.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; TELL ME A JOKE.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; TELL HIM TO STOP.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; SAY SOMETHING NEW.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; SAY IT LOUDER.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>·&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; It’s time to&nbsp;<strong><em>say</em>&nbsp;<em>goodbye</em></strong>&nbsp;now.
