Animals can be grouped depending on these characteristics, i.e. What descriptive words do you think of when you think about dogs? Or, Chickens?
When we look at breeds we can see that each breed of dog has different , characteristics i.e. A Great Dane and Rottweiler have very different features, and behaviour!
