 I am expressive and driven
 I wonder at great lengths about the heavens
 I hear the din of my future classrooms
 I see the faces of my students kindle
 I want to be a beacon for others to see by
 I am expressive and driven
 
 I pretend I can conquer any hurtle 
 I feel pride in succeeding 
 I touch greatness through hardship
 I worry about coming up short
 I cry when I remember loss
 I am expressive and driven
 
 
 I understand we are interconnected beings
 I say we are all one together
 I dream of peace for those without a way
 I try to be the person God would have me be
 I hope to enlighten my students through equanimity
