The author also described how daisy doesn't look at people different she looks at them the same.And how daisy looked at everyone as flat and pale as the moon, the author also used similes. The author described the secret happily because for one in her life a person would pay attention to her. She also describes it by her granny saying these thing and how she wanted to keep it a secret because grans weren't supposed to have favorites.

Via first was talking about her family as a galaxy and that Daisy the dog doesn't orbit around Auggie. Daisy looked at the family faces and what Via said that "To Daisy, all our faces look alike, as flat and pale as the moon".

Later then in Via's life that her grandmum said that she loved her more than anyone else in the world. It seems that her grandmum cared about Via even Auggie. There's your post ladies and gentlemen > _<.
